SUPER. appoints Keegan Leslie as Chief Executive Officer

July 15, 2026

SUPER. has appointed Keegan Leslie as Chief Executive Officer, effective 1 June 2026. He joins from 14 years inside the superyacht industry, nine of them onboard and five in yacht software.

Hamburg, 1 June 2026. SUPER. today announced the appointment of Keegan Leslie as Chief Executive Officer, effective immediately.

Keegan takes over a company built around a stubborn idea: that the entire yacht value chain belongs in one place. Owners, shipyards, management companies and crew all touch the same vessel. For most of this industry's history they have touched it through different systems, different spreadsheets and different versions of the truth. Closing that gap is the whole reason SUPER. exists.

Fourteen years on the water, and around it
South African by birth and maritime by trade, Keegan brings 14 years in the superyacht industry: nine years onboard, followed by five in yacht software working directly with the crews, managers and yards who live inside these tools every day.

Those first nine years are the point. Software for this industry has a long tradition of being designed for the people who sign the contract rather than the people opening it at 0300 in an engine room. Keegan spent nearly a decade as the second kind of person before he ever built for them.

"I spent nine years onboard as the person the software was supposed to be helping, and five more building it," said Keegan. "What I care about most is that SUPER. stays honest about that first stretch. Every feature we ship should make someone's actual working day shorter, safer or simpler. If it doesn't, it doesn't belong in the platform."

The team

Keegan leads a group of more than 25 specialists across 10+ nationalities, including 17 engineers between Hamburg and remote. He works alongside Maarten Piso (Chief Product Officer, overseeing platform, data services and engineering), Pavle Andjelkovic (Commercial Lead, shipyard and partner relationships), and Xanthianna Gerasimidou (Marketing Lead). Alexander von Plato and Christian Kurtz, Managing Directors of besecke, continue as strategic advisors.

The company remains headquartered on the Binnenalster in Hamburg, a few hundred metres of water from where Hapag-Lloyd started 175 years ago. In the city where shipping was invented, that feels about right.

What comes next

Keegan's first months are being spent where he thinks the answers are: in conversation with the crews, managers and yards already running SUPER. every day. The roadmap that follows will come from those conversations rather than from a whiteboard in Hamburg.

Superior by name. SUPER. by nature.
